Skunk 2 short shifters sit pretty high on del sols so I've heard. I've got one myself but it's not installed.

If you want to do it right, Then figure out the height you want, then take the shifter and **** to a machine shop and have them cut it to the height, some machining maybe needed on the outer surface then retread it for the ****.

Note: Depends on the hieght you want the shifter starts thin on the top and get's a little bigger as you go down and that is why the shifter may need some maching on the outer surface before retread.....

That"s how i would do it, no epoxy and it won't break in the future and still look like factory.
Good luck..

why a machine shop??? Couldn't I just use a tap and die kit and if its to thick just grind down the sides to size then sand to a circular shape.. Just stating an alternative so peeps dont have to spend money at a machine shop they can make some money themselves rather then spend it... ANybody have a dEL SOL WITH THE SKUNK 2...??? How does it sit??compared to a stock bseries shift linkage

my del sol had a ebay short shifter on it and it did sit pretty high, when it broke i replaced it with a stock b-series shifter which sat about the same so I grabbed a jigsaw cut it to height i liked rethreaded the shifter and i was good to go.
