Default battery died now car won't respond with new battery

Okay the quick and dirty
*1992 civic si with jdm b16 swap
*left my lights on and drained my battery
*jumped my car and drove to a friends house
*let it run for a while then went in his house
*came out and it was completely dead again
*tried to jump it and when I put the jumper cables on the negative lead to the battery came off.
*car would not respond while hooked up to friends running car
*no accessory power nothing
*got new battery same thing
*brake lights come on when I hit the brakes but head/tail lights are not functional nor is accessory power

Ideas? Fuses I should check?

check the 80a battery fuse in the engine bay, most likely why accessory wont work.

NOTHING works not just accessory then only thing that will come on is brake lights so the battery has to be connected right?

where the jumper cables hooked up backwards?... this would cause nothing to work... it would have sparked badly.. prob the main fuse
