98 civic tranny

i need a new transmission.. options.. whats the best.. i want a short gear ratio.. help me out

Dude we can't reccomend a tranny without knowing what motor you have. If you have a D series motor a tranny from a Civic EX is going to give you the shortest gear ratios. Next up would be DX and LX, then a CX has the longest gearing.
