it has been a long while since I saw a comparison test of headers but last time it seemed dc sports did very well in the test.

The best header is probably a Type S and then a regular JDM one, but for Aftermarket Greddy is the best bang for your buck. I believe spoon and SMP make an h22 header, but they cost double what a Greddy unit will cost.

IMO, DC quality is nowhere near as good as Greddy. .02$

I tried to vote but it said I did not have permission. Why would it not let me vote. By the way, GReddy.

Well for a combonation of peformance, value, and reliability I'd say DC Sports. I've heard Kamikaze's make the most power but HART used DC sports on their touring accords and civics so I'd say use what the pros use.

I have an OBX which i believe is a copy of the Greddy, the first bend occurs farther away from the head than the JDM header so exhaust velocity is still maintained as long as possible, it has larger piping, a bigger collector, smoother bends, i looked at them side by side since i had both laying around . The JDM header is better than the USDM but I dont think its designed THAT well that an aftermarket wouldnt be an improvement. Just my $.02

SMSP 4-1 header... not sure if it'll fit an accord without some cutting though.

SMSP already abandoned the 4-1 and is switching to a 4-2-1.

SMSP.....

Best gains at the top end but its hard to get and a bit pricey..not to mention fabrication.

I went with the Greedy. Its has the best performace/Quality of the bunch.

Type S header or the regular JDM header

I have the DC Sports though, it's nice.

I thought the same thing, i have a JDM H22a, i got an OBX (copy of a greddy) the butt dyno liked it alot, if u look at them side by side, bigger piping, longer primaries.

I just want to add I changed my oil and noticed the bracket on my Greddy that attaches to the oil pan area is cracked after 2 months. I here this is a problem with DC and Greddy headers for ludes. It's not a big deal I'm just going to have it welded when I get my exhuast redone.

DC sports is nice for something simple with good gains. The primaries on the Greddy header is bigger, however the collectors on both are still restricted to 2". I would suggest if you guys already have the JDM header then all you should do if possible is getting it coated to get rid of the rust look and enlargen the collector to about 2.5" Then you will have one of the best performing headers out there for little to nothing in cost.

wow, they're still around. i havn't heard about them in a long time.

i remember a few years ago they had nice cold-air intakes system for a reasonable price.

a friend bought a header from them for his H22, and turn out some good gain, especially over his mugen, but havn't seen the name in a long time.
