I am trying to find out what other cars I can use a trans from. I have a 98 Prelude 5spd. I use mostly for highway driving. I was wondering if I could use a trans from an accord or From any H series engine. My Trans Grinds 2nd and 5th.

you can use any H series or F series transmission. (excluding the F20C obviously.) i had an F22 trans. in my 5th gen for abot 2 years. power suffers, but gas milage is great. honestly i probably got 45 mpg going about 75 on the highway. they can be found fairly cheap...~$200-250ish

you can find an F22 trans in a prelude model "S", and i believe the F23 accords, but im not sure.
