purpose of the charcoal canister?
i have been wondering exactly what it does/purpose?I am prepared to be flamed but it's worth it to find out.And should it ever be changed?thx Matt

charcoal canister- vapors from the gas tank are routed to and absorbed by the charcoal inside the canister and once u start ur car the vapors are drawn to the intake manifold and burned once again....or some just vent....newer cars are pcm controled...
