Ok well the car is kind of a frankenstein as its a 98' DX sedan i bought with no motor and have a 96 D16Y7 Engine, Harness and ECU in. Now that its running im getting a CEL for the evap system. car runs fine and everything i just need to CEL gone for emissions test. The charcoal canister on the car has a plug on top of it but the harness from the 96 doesnt have a plug. I found theres a sensor on the gas tank thats related to evap that the 98 has and 96 doesnt but i dont understand why a ECU from a 96 would be reading that anyway? Any ideas? Thanks!!
