Default Removing a Momo Hub Adapter: WON'T COME OFF!

Ok, so I have have a 1996 civic hatchback. I just bought a NRG short hub and quick release kit. When I bought the car, it already came with a momo hub adapter. So I took off the 6 alan screws holding the steering wheel, then took off the steering wheel. I then immediately went for the 19mm (i think) nut that's holding the hub, I took it off and then I attempted to take the hub off. Here's where I'm having trouble:

The hub won't come off, it's holding for dear life! I called my friend and basically he said oh it's like that, just put the steering wheel back on without the 19mm nut and whack the steering wheel a couple of times, and it should come off.

Well it didn't, I've even sprayed some wd-40. It won't come off.

Does anyone know a solution?

Thanks.

grip that think as hard as you can and pull for dear life! you'll get it. those teeth make a crazy bond when compacted.
