Del Sol into Civic Radiator Hose Choices
I am planning to swap a DOHC VTEC Del Sol Radiator into my 99 Civic EX (acura EL really, but it's the same as a 99 Civic EX) with a D16Y8. I understand this is a bolt in part, but that my SOHC hoses will be too small for the radiator outlets. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
1. Would I be better off going with DOHC hoses and clamping them down tightly on my engine; OR going with stock SOHC lines and stretching them onto the radiator outlets?
2. What year and model DOHC hoses should I use, if I use them?
3. If I clamp them down, I understand that I should use a threaded clamp. Is the picture below the correct type of clamp?

Thank you very much. I searched a good amount and didn't see a clear answer.

Not sure if you can get the smaller hoses to stretch that much and de sol hoses fit different due to where the outlet on the head is. Honestly it would probably be a lot easier to just get a stock replacement rad, no screwing around. If you're doing this because you think you need a bigger rad, you need to have quite a bit of work done before you need to start thinking about a bigger rad, stock rad will even cool a GS-R engine just fine.
