Default How do i find out if i have forged, low compression pistons???? HELP

I was told my motor had JE low comp pistons and Eagle rods...Is there any way i can tell that the motor has them with out actually taking the head off or motor apart to look???

Also i did a compression test and is was roughly 175psi across the board...Is that low comp??

I really want to find this out before i boost the car becouse if they are not low comp pistons it will most likley blow up

HELPPP THANKS!!

What motor is it? 175 is low comp but it also depends what block and head you have.

Someone who knows a little about what Honda pistons for your engine look like, may be able to pull a plug and look at a piston top.

Take the oil pan off and look at the rods. If they're Eagles, you probably have the pistons too because no one in their right mind would go through the work to put stock pistons on Eagle rods.
