Default H22 turbo high oil pressure

I know there are a tons of thread about this issue but I havent found an answer.

The engine is a fully built H22, the turbo has a restritor.
The oil is ok when driving on normal condition:
80psi at cold start
around 20psi when warm at idle.
Goes to around 80psi at 5k to 6k rpm (no load)
but on the dyno it went pass 100 psi on 9 psi of boost.

That scared me a bid. I only want to know if it could cause to the engine or any component to fail or ware prematuraly.

I'm not sure of the oil grade... we were supose to put motul 300V but they were out of stock so we put in Total.

Thanks.

your oil pressure is fine..

at idel its supposed to be at like 10 to 20

then goes up by 10psi every 1000 rpms. too much oil pressure shouldnt hurt anyways

and if u Just built your engine do NOT run sythetic.. i highly recommenr Valvolive VR1 it contains zincronium witch is very good for break ins

I guess this question is sort of related:

Anyone know the difference in max PSI between leaving your piston oil jets in vs taking them out?

your oil pressure is exactly like mine. I dont run oil squirters or balancer shafts.

80 psi cold start, ~20psi at operating temps

90 or so psi peak under load.

i bought the motor i have already built, it was just blown up i went thru the entire motor replacing bearings pistons etc, not really knowing entirely about the balance shaft install procedure, Benson built and sleeved it from the get go so i wouldnt think they did it wrong.. i never checked those ports when i built it, i know what they are now, but if 1 was out i would have a hard time believing it would get any pressure at all there pretty big and it has almost perfect pressure everywhere else.

It idles around 850-900rpm

reguardless i have a set of prodrive gears to install and will be checking this out further come winter time
