d15b bottom end with a b7 head?

Default d15b bottom end with a b7 head?

so i bought a motor today from a friend, he took it out to put a b series in, so i got it for dirt cheap, i brought it home and its a jdm d15b bottom end with a p06 head!?! i called him and he said he didn't know about that, why would someone do that? lol it ran good but threw a map sensor code...and the motor doesn't have a map sensor....weird

Might have been some sort of D15B non vtec, I know the existed in a dual carb setuo, don't know about fuel injected.

Well that would explain why it threw a map sensor code. '92 and '93 civics with D15B7s used a firewall mounted map sensor that connects to a port on the top of the throttlebody with a piece of vacuum hose, '94 - '95 civics with D15B7s used a throttlebody mounted map sensor.

It's fuel injected, the motor came out of a dx, i think that maybe the previous owner maybe threw a rod or spun a bearing in the stock bottom end and was able to find that bottom end for cheap...thats my only guess.
I can just put a d16z6 throttle body on it can't I? I got one of those with a map sensor.
