Ok so i have a 95 ls teg that i just turbo'd. I had a base map thrown onto the ecu. The car is throwing the crank position code and wont rev past 3500 rpm. I changed the whole distributor and checked out my engine harness. I even went as far as putting a whole different harness in the car and i'm still throwing the code.

I called the shop who put the base map on the ecu and they didnt know what would cause the problem. Does anybody know whats going on??? any info would help! thanks!

how many blinks are you getting? it sounds like your ECU is running in limp mode. do you have a stock ecu that you can just plug in to see if your car will act normal? I know you won't be able to drive it or run it for very long at that but maybe it will give you an idea on wether it's your ECu/chip/basemap or not.
