Default Turbo Wont Fit. T3/60-1 Help

I just picked up a Meutek Manifold for my turbo and I want to keep A/C in my car. I did research before and people use this manifold and have a/c. I got a LS in a Ek but when I flip my turbo around to keep my a/c the block gets in the way. I dont even think that shaving the block will work with this manifold. It really sucks. Does anyone know what I could do, or where I could get another manifold thats A/C compatiable at a reasonable price. All I need is to get this manifold situation done with so I can put everything together. This is going to be my first turbo build and I just want to have a Daily turboed car with a/c I would say the h#!! with it an take it out but its my only vehicle right now.

I doubt you'll fit that t3/60-1 with the "S" compressor housing on a cast log manifold. It's already tight with the "E" compressor housing already.

What would you recommend I do. Should I just keep looking for a manifold. Or do you know any good ones.

you got 3 choices

1. get rid of ac

2. get a E compressor housing

3. get a different manifold that lets you run ac and a S cover turbo such as the full race ac ram horn or peak boost

you care about ac so number 1 is out of the question. do number 2 if your broke and do number 3 if you got$$$ and want the best power results and for the bling factor

Even if he changed the compressor housing, he has to tear the turbo apart with the backplate and seals. So that may be out of the question unless he sold it, and got another turbo. I'd say my silver surfer would fit (60-1 t04B) but he's got the turbo.

Time to shell out for a REAL manifold, like the inline pro.

he wont have to tear out the backplate and seals. all he has to do is swap housings. its a very easy job and takes about 10 mins.

So you're saying that your "S" cover back plates fit your "E" cover precision backplates? Interesting.
