ECU malfunction code
not sure if this is the correct place for this, but its electrical.
i have a 1992 gsr that ive had for a couple months, I've started having weird power lag issues in the mid range (if you want to read the thread on it, https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-6/92-gsr-knock-sensor-problem-3031435/)
anyways, i jumped the connector and checked for codes and got a 0 code, indicating an ECU malfunction. I don't really know what my next step should be, the ECU looks brand new, dont think its the one that came in the car, it is a p61. dont know if its chipped. the harness looks pretty half assed to me as well. I dont know if i should get a new harness and ECU? i dont really feel like going through to try and fix this crappy harness, rather get a new one from rywire if i have to. Any help??

I'm pretty sure that with a code 0 your car usually wouldn't even start.
If you jumped the connector and the CEL stayed illuminated, that means that there are a no stored codes. If the CEL had of shut off with the connector jumped, that is a code 0.
Have you done a compression test on the engine lately?
