Cost of building a motor(pricing)
This might belong on the FI forum, but I thought Id post here since it seemed more tech related since it has to do with what needs to be done. Anyways, Ill be boosting my h22a1, and finally received the sleeves, pistons and rods. I went to a machine shop that I was recommended to, and I was expecting no more than 1500/2000$CAD for the disassembly/install/reassembly of the motor. The guy will be putting in all new misc parts, like bearings and oil pump, the pistons/rods/sleeves and also resealing the valves (necessary?), and he quoted me $2600 all said and done. I may just be missing something here.
