Hello all I searched the site but was unable to find any information that really gave me what I needed. I am new to the site but have been riding Honda since I was able to. I have an 03 ep3 I recently re-did the head had it resurfaced and got the 5 angle valve job as opposed to the three. I also had the intake and exhaust ports coated with a ceramic coating. Anyways I spun a rod bearing.
(it makes an awful ticking noise that progressively gets louder as revolutions increase) So now it is time for a new block as I understand it. So the question is where can I find a shortblock for a K20A3? I was also wondering if it is possibile to use a k24 block with my K20 head? Any advice at all would be helpful in these troubling times. Also if I did something wrong please let me know or if you need more info. Thanks for all your help I apprecciate it.
