Default Quick Bearing Questions

Alright Im about to order my bearings from the codes on the block and crank(this is the first time this block has been apart), But I was reading an old post that said you should platigauge your stock bearings to see if they were in spec or something along the lines of that, so should really matter if I order my bearings using the codes right(then plastigauging them just to be sure)since my Block has never been apart right?

One last thing I was going to order my bearings through http://acuraautomotiveparts.org but they dont have the codes for bearings with colors, they use letters, Bearing A, B, C, D, E, F, G, so umm whats the deal with that, which colors match each letter?
Thanks

You should order the size according to your block/crank/rods, then plastigauge when you receive them

If you gauge your existing bearings, they will not read correctly...they are worn.
