Default Ignition wire of alarm?

How would I wire the ignition wire with the starter kill and alarm ? I know the 86 on the relay is suppose to connect to the ignition wire. Would I just splice the alarm wire to the ignition wire also. I asking this b/c my dei relay has two yellow wires coming out of 86; I was thinking of wiring the two yellow wires on 86 with one going to the ignition and the other going to the alarm. Please help clarify. Thanks ht.

Default FV-QR

If you read your installation manual, you'll see that the wire you're trying to "kill" gets cut. One side of the relay goes to the "key side", and the other wire off the relay goes to the "vehicle side".

Also, if you're doing a starter kill, you cut & connect wires to the starter wire, not the ignition wire.

Thanks for the input b18c, but I understand that the wire I'm killing is suppose to be cut and have one end connected to 87a and the other connected to 30, and that the grounded when armed orange wire goes to 85. My question is regarding the ignition wire connected to 86.(note-there are 2 yellow wires coming out of the 86 port of the spdt relay that came with the alarm) Would I connect one of the yellow wires on 86 straight to the car's ignition harness, and then have the other yellow wire from 86 go to the alarm's yellow ignition wire?

One of DEIs dumber ideas, [2 yellow leads on #86], do not "daisy chain" your alarms ign. input, connect it directly to a "true" ign. source, [hot in run and start] then get rid of one of the yellow leads on #86 and jump the other one to #30 or #87a, which ever one is connected to the ign. switch side of cut starter lead. 94
