Default GSR head on a B16 block

I'm building a play toy race car, I have the block and head sitting in my shop along with a turbo set up. Would it be good to assemble all this together? Its all stock, except it needs pistons.

Yeah its fine. Question is rather vague but to answer your question YES a GSR head will make to a b16 block and vice versa.

if u use stock pistons itll pump compression a tad... gsr has smaller combustion chambers...

Well thanks for the imput. I've decided to use the b16 block, crank, and rods(Manley I-beams), with some LS turbo pistons (Wiesco), and stage 2 or 3 turbo cams(Skunk2). Any other suggestions!?

it would be a wise decsion to put "vtec" pistons in that block. if not, you may have problems with the valve relifs in the piston not being large enough for the "vtec valve's"

Also, unless you're planning to push over 500whp steady, Skunk2 Pro 1s will work fine. No need for stage 2s or 3s.

Thanks, not real sure as to how much power I'm going to push but I'm going to push it as far as possible with out breaking it. Would like to see it run around the low 10's high 9's.
