Default Need Fuel system help/opinion on build LS-VTEC TURBO/8 to 1

B18 bottom end
Balanced crank
LS rods
8-1 wiseco pistons
Running Log manifold
GT28 water cooled bearing turbo by garrett
Hondata S200
GSR Head CTR Valvetrain

I was wondering if i should invest in some injectors, my target is no more than 350 horse power and no less than 300HP

Please let me know, this is my first Low Comp Turbo Build.

At the very minimum i would say 550cc injectors RC are great but you be making there duty cycle out better off to go with 750cc rc injectors venom has some to that way your not maxing out the injectors and have room to play

did ANY of you guys look at his turbo choice?

He's running a T28 turbo. with 8:1 compression! He's looking at a max of 250-275whp with that turbo, AT BEST.

So whoever suggested 750cc injectors, no friggin way. Those are SERIOUS overkill.

550's are the biggest you'll need until you upgrade manifold and turbo.

that thing is going to be a SLUG off boost with 8:1 compression pistons.

14.1 @ 125mph? Do you know how to drive? Like, shift gears, etc?
Did you start in 3rd gear on that track pull?

You should be able to swing 12s easily on street tires if you're trapping 125 dude.

I thought my 14.1 @ 114 was bad.

He probably did what I did, left too hot and spun the tires a damn good ways down the track. It doesn't make for very good times.

No damn it stock injectors wont work for any turbo setup end of story. stock injectors are easy to peg out NA and boost to it and you dont have a chance..... keep stock injectors if you want to melt a piston

It's not just about maxing the fuel pressure, you're maxing out the duty cycle for the pintles of the injectors. They'll be open 90% of the time, burn out, and you'll detonate the engine. 550cc are fine, but you'd need a small turbo anyway w/ 8.0:1. Damn.. It's not a Subaru or a DSM..
