You should really look into atleast a 6-Puck.

The ACT Extreme Plate is rated to a 120% increase in torque, so dependent on the setup you may be better off with a different setup.

they are rated for tq.

if you use an organic or standard disc, you will nuke it in 1 pass if you are making good power / tq.

you need a puck, or a ceremetallic, or if you are a baller carbon disc to handle the heat of preloading.

Why would you buy a street/strip disc if your planning to make 600whp?

I agree to go with a Twin disc i have has several 4 and 6 puck discs from clutchmasters burn out on me they swore it was good to about 500 hp and about 450 foot pounds of torque they replaced it two times and each time it lastes about 6 dyno pulls and it was toast, switched to the FX700 twin discs from clutch masters and its a beauty

I’ve done a fair amount of “question asking ” my self, I’m now making the power levels where you just can’t get away with a street disc and a 6 puck is dead within 5 to 6 thousand miles of street and track use, twin disc is the way forward for many reason, 6 puck engagement is very aggressive and the shock has to be adsorbed some place, usually mounts and drive train.
Unfortunately or fortunately the twin disc out weighs the 6 puck when you do the comparison, high power FWD is going to hurt your pocket no mater how you look at it, as quoted to me by a reputable US based tuner, throw in a twin plate and forget about it, spend the extra cash in other areas that require the attention.
Sell the street disc to one of the NASP guys,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe

Eddie
