Default keeps going lean???

ok so i have a built y7block /z6 head... im throwing a code 14.. i cleaned the iacv and still throwing code.. but my main problem is the car doesnt idle good and it feels like it has no power at all.. i would expect atleast 100hp but it backfires alot and feels like it has 20hp.. i have tried xenocrons y7/z6 map that he used for a customer. i tried a z6 map and a y7 map.. wat else can i do??? and i just hooked up my wideband o2 sensor.. i start it up and its at 14.7 to 15 afr.. then after about 10 seconds it will just go lean.. no matter wat i do.. press the peddle.. let go.. still stays lean and backfires.. any suggestions? im out to part this d16 out and just save up and just throw a y7 head on it.. cuz im not sure if its the timing difference in the y7/z6 or if my ecu is bad?? idk please help

you should look into buying a new one then, or picking up a used one to fix your code problem. the IACV flaking out will cause most of the issue you are describing.. so start there.

additionally, if your wideband is set up to emulate your narrowband, make sure the settings for the narrowband emulation are correct. if that is off, it will cause all kinds of chaos.

no, i think you should fix the IACV first if it tests bad.

If your o2 sensor is disabled on the ecu, then it shouldn't matter what o2 setup you are using, but if you did all this and your car is running like ****, you really need to get it tuned. xenocron provides those maps as starting points for people with similar setups, so using them is just a courtesy to give you the ability to limp the car to a tuner, and to give a tuner a base to start on that is atleast in the ballpark. You should fix or at least troubleshoot the IACV first, because it isn't pleasant to tune a car throwing codes, and then get the car tuned.
