both of these are around 2300 bucks. they will both get sleeved (bigger) and receive lower compression pistons and stronger rods so stability is not a problem. im debating between the two right now. which would you choose and why?

 

I plan on sticking with my b16, and were aiming for 400whp@16psi.

 

it all depends on what top end you are going to be using becasue if you are going to be using a vtec head for the b18b then go with that it will have the lower end bower or the non vtec then the upper end power from the vtec and also be stonger than any b16a.

 

I'd take the larger displacement. And forget the VTEC head, just build it up, and turn up the boost.
