Default All Motor noob, few question

Im new to the whole building for allmotor so be easy on me fellas first let me tell you what im starting with and see what you all think would be the be interest to not waste money on parts that wont see a big gain from..

i got a stock compression lsvtec that i put together for a low boost 300whp setup well ive ran into some money issues for the time being (laid off from the biggest telecommunication company in the world) that wont let me build the setup as reliable as i would like so i thought i would save some cash and do allmotor for now...

started off with getting some rs machine pr3 pistons and arp rod studs (motor just had a fresh rebuild prior to assembling it with arp head studs) ive got a b16 lsd tranny with a competition stage 4 clutch with a lightweight flywheel, s300 with wideband setup..

im wondering if 3" exhaust will be to large for the setup im running, it would be perfect size for boost but im not so sure NA... i also planned to get the hytech copy cat header or maybe even a rage (might be the same so please dont flame ) and i had thought about trying to go the homemade itb route an making my own inless just getting a stock ported itr intake and throttle body with a veolicity stack would be just as powerful for the price... im kinda new to this whole realm of things but motor building and tuning is something i would like to think im very capable of doing and all in all if this build ends up being a really good fun bang for the buck i might even go with a b20 bottom end later down the road and build the b16 head i have.. sorry its so long but i wanna try to get some tips or problem areas i might have solved

I'm on a limited budget myself at the moment and it really seems like you have two choices. But first i wanted to say if you are short on cash why would you ever sacrafice reliablility. Back to the two choices, first, save your money for you're turbo setup. Or second build what you can, and never plan for boost. I'm learning alot myself, but it seems that if you were setting up an engine to be N/A it would almost be the oposite setup if you were going boost. Opposite may not be the right word, but alot of the parts would be different, if you were going to be true to one or the other. I guess there is a third option of mild upgrades, JDM CTR cam, new valves and retainers, mild stuff that will improve hp a little but can easily be adapted to boost later on. All i can say is the tighter your budget, the more you have to have a definate plan, the more research you have to do to make sure that plan is on the right track, and you have to stick to your plan.

I guess i should have also made the fact known that i have another lsvtec that i build for boost with 10 to 1 compression rod an piston build ported head valvetrain ect ect but i had this lsvtec i posted about that i was gonna just boost to get a feel of sort for it before i risk a pricey motor....my turbo junk was gonna run upward of 4k which is why i said why not all motor this current motor (got about 125 bucks in the rod studs and pistons) i know that i cant run this motor for boost 11 to 1 on boost= im just trying to see if what i had posted before was a good start
