Cooling fan not turning on twice while bleeding air -- Helms says it should
Vehicle: 1994, Accord Ex, VTEC, AT, AC
This post concerns a possible ECT Fan issue. The ECT fan is not turning on when the engine is idling with the rad cap off. I assume that is a problem because the Helms Service Manual says that the radiator cooling fan should come on at least twice when idling the engine to bleed the air out of the cooling system. But the fans will work at other times with the rad cap on.
Should the fans come on twice during idle w/cap off ? ... For how long ?
