check thermostat ground, that'll cause it to not prime

You should have done some troubleshooting first before you buy/swap parts. Do you get 12V to the fuel pump connector, do you hear the main relay click, did you check the fuses, do you get 12V AT the main relay???

blown fuse
bad electrical connection
bad pump
bad ECU (there's a cap inside the ECU that goes bad and causes no prime condition)

i did diagnose before i bought items....

ecu fuse under hood is fine.
the ground that connects to the thermostat housing is all good and tight
i have a y7 and y8 ecu so i swapped them and they both do the same thing

my mechanic thought the pump was bad before, but it ended up being that thermostat housing ground. everything was working fine a few days ago and it just seems this happened out of no where. i wasnt driving the car or anything

ok so anyone correct me if im wrong...

but when you turn your key to ON you should hear a click from the main relay,

then you turn your key to start you should hear another click right?

well i dont hear the first click, but when i turn it to start i can feel the click thru the relay.

i have two relays and they both do the same, one is brand new

Actually this procedure is just to test the relay, you need to test the car.....but use it to see if you are getting the correct voltages and grounds using a meter...
