d16y8 bottom end with a y7 head what timing belt?

Default d16y8 bottom end with a y7 head what timing belt?

i have a d16y8 from a 00 ex and i mated the 97 y7 head on. dont ask questions..its already done and thats that.

anyway i just want to make sure im supossed to use the Y7 timing belt and not the Y8 correct?

I checked on this earlier when you were having trouble and complianing that the belt seemed loose. Y7s and Y8s use the same belt, as an added bonus the D16Z6 also uses this belt.

it was loose because i didnt remove the lower timing belt to move the tensioner to tighten the belt. im still looking online for pics of someone doing that. hopefully i can find a write up or something on it. im replacing the belt because i got some oil on it and im not even going to [freak] around.
