Mini me swap with a y8 automatic head?
Does it make a difference if the Y8 I plan on putting on my Y7 is automatic or manual? I know I need a manual ECU. But will the Head, intake and throttle body of of a automatic Y8 work or no?

You need a manual intake manifold and throttle body, the head doesn't matter. You also need to do the 3 wire to 2 wire IACV conversion. Go to ff-squad.com and find the write-up.

The manual Y8 uses a different throttle body and intake manifold than the automatic, The automatic has the IACV on the throttle body while the manual has the IACV on the back of the intake manifold.

Thanks for all your help guys. I found a great write up on doing the mini me. But I had a question about what ARP head studs to order? I'm not sure where / what combo to get.
