Default oil-restrictor

Hi,
I have a turbo installed in my 2000 civic si with a B16A2 motor this week and after i installed the downnpipe and dump tube with full exhaust, i notice that there was blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, i'm currently using -3AN oil line. I'm taking the oil from the back of the motor at the oil sending unit.

Does anyone know the fix to this problem???

Whats the story on the turbo? New/Used?

What size is the drain line? Check that real close for kinks or spots where flow would be impeded (low spots/tight corners).

The Turbo is new, The return line is -8AN but it was kink so i remove it today and bought new -8AN hose and fittings to put on tomorrow. The fitting coming out from the turbo was a straight fitting and it needed a 45-degree fitting so i bought one today.
I also bought some new NOS jets and made my own oil restrictor. I saw info on a website where Garrett show how to do this mod for all T3 or T4 Turbos.
Thank you...

I bet fixing that kink will solve the problem. Same thing happened on my setup when I used 1/2" heater hose as an *emergency* fix to get me to work one day. There was a huge kink and only about 1/4 was open. It looked like I was fogging for mosquitos

Hi,
I fix the -8AN return to the oil pan today, I bought a 45 degree fitting for the oil pan and a 45-degree fitting for the turbo end, the fittings can swivel all around.
So i then try it out without putting a oil restrictor and it worked perfectly, no more blue smoke thru the exhaust and no leaks thru the turbo. Keep in mind the oil feeder line is a -3AN, the -4AN was to big.

Thanks for your help and your opinions on your experience.
