Default obd2 to obd1 distributor help

Ok so here's the deal...
I have a 90' CRX si.
Just got my obd1 p28 ecu and the ecu jumper harness now im up 2 the distributor and im going to order the distributor jumper harness soon. I don't know much about them to be honest. Everyone keeps saying I need a obd1 distributor to run the Vtec but some obd1 distributor don't run with Vtec and some do. Can all the obd1 distributor hold Vtec or do I need 2 get it out of a motor that holds Vtec? Plz need help.

in order for you to run obd1 in your car you will need and obd1 distributor. the dizzy jumper harnesses allow for a plug n play set up for the dizzy so you wont have to de-pin your oem harness. check out my sig, lmk if have more questions.

the distributor that you will need will depend on your set up. if you run a non vtec motor then get a non vtec dizzy. but because your gonna be using a P28 im assuming your going to be running vtec. just get matching parts and youll never go wrong.

the only difference between VTEC and non-VTEC OBD1 distributors is in the attaching arms - if you want to use the OBD1 distributor on your D16A6, use the non-VTEC distributor from D15B7 - the VTEC distributor from the D16Z6 won't bolt onto the D16A6 head - the D15B7 will

Yea u guys are right but I f***ked up on the post (parden my french)... srry.
I have a D16Y8 and trying to run Vtec in it (Motor already holds Vtec). Yea I got rid of the A6. The dizzy that's on there now is a obd2 dizzy. Just wanna kno should I get the obd1 dizzy out of a motor that runs Vtec already or it doesn't really matter? And alot of pplz say the Y8 and the Z6 are almost like twins so im hoping that the dizzy on the Z6 will bolt right on the Y8..right? Plz correct me if im worng...(Just wanna make sure).

the z6 dizzy and y8 dizzy do not have the same bolt pattern. if your running the y8 (TD-80U) dizzy then dont worry about it your already good to go.

Like I said, don't know to much about dizzy's so im guessing the TD-80U is the stock dizzy for the Y8. If so, then all I need to do is connect the ecu jumper harness and im good... right?

yes, look on one of the bolt tabs (or ears as they are more commonly reffered to) and look for a TD-80u stamping number on it.

Ok back again and the dizzy on my Y8 is the stock dizzy for the A6 (TD-18U). I haven't been working on my car in a while so yea I just found out. The guy who sold me the motor did not tell me that, that was the A6 dizzy but anyways im going 2 to get the TD-80U dizzy and put that on there and im looking 2 buy the obd0 to obd2 dizzy harness... post here if ur selling 1!
