i just purchased a 2000 civic si as my daily driver. the car is in decent shape but of course after i buy it, i find out it needs some work. the catalytic converter is on its way out. im thinking now would be a good time to replace the factory exhaust system. i would like to get some sort of header, a high flow cat-converter and a cat-back exhaust system. the only two restrictions i have to work with are price (dont want to spend alot) and noise (i cant be waking the neighbors with this) the car is going to remain relatively stock, with the addition of an intake and any exhaust work. im open to any and all suggestions anyone may have. thanks for your help.

 

find some used dc header , high flow cat with custom 2 inch pipping on an ebay twin loop.

thats just off the top of my head

 

stock piping and a fartcan is the way to go!!!!!

 

hahaha no way i could ever be "that guy." i see way too many of them around. does anyone make a combo with header, cat and cat-back that will all bolt up to each other?

 

replace your header with a manifold and a turbo.

your car will sound 10 times better and feel atleast 10 times faster.
