Default Comptech Icebox on a Stock ITR Intake Arm?

Hey fella's, I have seen several pictures of guys running comptech icebox's on factory itr intake arms.

I am currently in the process of putting a jrsc on my em1, and have an itr intake arm with a comptech icebox that I ordered last week. I got the parts in and it seems as if I am going to have to modify the intake arm to make everything fit by making it a little thicker.

I know my car is not an itr, but I figured that some of you were running this setup. If you are, what air filter are you running?

Any thoughts/help is greatly appreciated.

I'll check mine tonight after work.

Yeah there are a couple K&N filters that work as well. I remember seeing what numbers they were after a quick search....

That won't work on a JRSC... You will need a gsr stock arm to make it work. The JRSC sits too low for the ITR stock arm to work an the gsr arm works just fine for it.

I know from experience that will not work and you will need a gsr stock arm to get the icebox to work with the JRSC unless you get the Comptech arm designed for the JRSC.
