I have replaced the window regulator in my sons 1997 2dr Accord twice in the last couple months. 1st one lasted 2 days second one lasted two months. I replaced them with Dorman regulators. Anyone else had problems with these. I'm thinking of ordering a Honda Regulator and hopefully be done with this.

Guys at the parts store have been helpful and willing to exchange again.

Window moves freely when regulator assembly is removed.

If I'm missing something please advise.

With the help of this forum I've done timing belts, radiator, upper control arms, etc, thanks for all the help.

Next project is a subwoofer. Any recommendations where to power the relay for power.

Only changed mine once... went with an OEM one and everything has been fine for about 4 years. If the parts guys are willing to replace it again, I'd either go that route, or see if a refund is possible.

 

I just ordered one from Majestic Honda. The only reason I went with the Dorman was convenience. Even with a lifetime gaurantee, they aren't holding up.

Fortunately the parts guys understand and are offering a refund.
