i have a 95 ex with a gsr swap and yesterday i decided to clean the intake manifold with some carb cleaner, after cleaning it and putting everything back together my car is now idling at 4500 rpm, (i lost one of my injector rings but my car is not having a fuel leak, this wouldnt have to do nothing with it will it?)

 

you lost an injector o ring? dangerous...
did you remove the intake manifold from the head?
if so, did you use a new intake manifold gasket?
take some carb cleaner and spray around the intake manifold.. see if the idle changes any.. sounds like a major vacuum leak..

 

did you tighten the manifold bolts in sequence to the head? i'd check there first.... and replace that injector o-ring pronto

 

yes i replaced the manifold gasket, and yes i sprayed carb cleaner to the throttle body and it idles down and also to the intake manifold, (by the way i did this with the engine on is that the right way to do it?)
