AEM intake filter ?
How can you tell if it is an dry or oil filter? I just got a used short ram and trying to figure out what cleaning kit to buy so i can clean it . Any help will be appreciated.

not sure, but just wash it, let it dry and call it a day...most likely if you have an AEM filter it is a dry filter so dont use any oil like k&n filter treatment kits because their not ment for that ya know?
OK! Here is the scoop. AEM made an oiled filter (same as K&N) that needs to be cleaned and oiled. But now they are selling a "DryFlow" Filter that needs only to be cleaned and NO OIL. If you don't know which one you have. Look at the top end and it says Dryflow under AEM then its dryflow. If it says AEM only then its oiled. Hope this helps someone else. I did not want to oil my dryflow or not oil my filter if needed.
