Default New B18C5 arrived from Japan

The new warranty replacement part (short block) arrived yesterday. The car should be ready late friday. I have not seen my car since june 22. The short block took about 10 days to get here. Acura rep called tonight and said it will be a full warranty replacement. He said they are probably going to pay one months car payment. Gotta go .

Congratulations.
Good to hear a happy "ending" now and then.

Even got a months payment out of it, not bad.

Besure to break it in nice and see if the new block has a vin plate on it.

Well, it wasn't as pleasant as it sounds. I must of spent a half hour on the phone every other night since the middle of june. I was very patient and every thing worked out. I know one thing my five year boy can't wait to get herby2 back. He named this car herby2 because the orginal herby was my 1994 accord (bought new) which he was conceived in, wife beat the hell out it, and was sold last year. As far as breaking in a new motor, i will do it right. I read a dyno comparison on a couple different types of motors and you would not believe the difference in a properly broken-in motor.
