I recently installed a stage 2 exedy clutch with a 12lbs flywheel...for some reason my vtech doesn't seem to be kicking in...is it just me or what??

 

replacing the clutch and flywheel is not going to make your vtec not engage..did you unplug anything? is your speedo working?

Yeah installing a flywheel and clutch on your telephone wont enable vtech.



All kidding aside why do you have a stage 2 clutch. Im assuming you have a stock motor with mild bolt ons

 

did you plug the vss back in?

 

check your vss, vtec solenoid, vtec pressure switch, and coolant sensor and make sure they are undamaged and plugged in

 

Im pretty sure if he forgot to plug any of those sensors in he would throw a code.....

 

maybe he didnt put 2 and 2 together.
