Running Rich - VAFC answer?
118K 94 EXa coupe - Mods that would affect a/f mixture: DC 421, DC exhaust, AEM cai, AEM fuel rail, VENOM Stage I Injectors.
Running rich is, over time, doing nasty things to my O2 sensor and my iac valve (not to mention other things). Would getting a VAFC and learning to "map" my a/f ratio be my answer? I was considering buying an air/fuel autometer gauge to keep an eye on it but if I cannot adjust it then what's the use? So is a V-AFC what I need?

why r u running upgraded injectors on those bolt ons? put the stock injectors back in. then see where u r at. autometer a/f gauges only give u a ball park. u need a real wideband o2 sensor to actually tune the a/f ratio
Yes, the VAFC can subtract some fuel and lean you out a little. It would be a good idea to add some kind of gauge or monitor to figure out where you need lose some fuel. Just out of curiosity, why are you running the Venom injectors? Are you squeezing on your motor as well?
Stock injectors had to be replaced and since I had to spend the money either way and I expect to need larger injectors in the future I went with the slightly larger Venoms. So, putting the stockers back are not an option.

Your Venom injectors are the cause of the problem.
The best option would be to find a set of stock injectors, used from somebody, have them cleaned up and swap them out. Bigger aftermarket injectors for your bolt-ons are over-kill. Instead of investing in a VAFC, I'd say search for stock injectors. Good luck
