Default Possibly a bad alarm remote?

I try to disengage my car alarm (Clifford G5 w/ Black Jack) and nothing happens, I also tried pressing every button possible and still nothing. Are these the symptoms of a bad remote?

It could be a bad remote or it need to be reprogrammed. When did this start?

Then I agree with wrx-killer-Sti-eater, bad remote, probably a cold solder connection, as it is intermittent, you may be able to repair it if you have a fine tip solder pencil, re-solder all the connection you can on the PC board, in the remote, pay close attention to where the ant. is mounted to the board. 94
