This thread is for people to post telling about the kind of Labor they'll be doing to their cars or whatever on the Labor Day holiday...


Here is my rundown and plans for tomorrow...

Well, I have a built Crower/Vitara/Eagle D16Y8. It's been built now for about a year and I still haven't had the chance to get her purrin' like she should.

It's had a sparatic idle problem and I've been too lazy to install the 550s and 2.5 bar map sensor, so....

Tomorrow I'm going to be doing a little work on her on the lovely Labor Day holiday.

-Clean out the IACV
-Install the new TPS
-Play COD4 on the 360 or SoCom beta test on the PS3
-Install the 550cc injectors
-Install the 2.5 bar map sensor
-Play COD4 on the 360 or SoCom beta test on the PS3
-Install the chipped p28 ecu
-Bolt down my 10w7 in my trunk
-Play COD4 on the 360 or SoCom beta test on the PS3
-Clean out the interior
-Cut out the bumper so the whole front mount is exposed to air
-Play COD4 on the 360 or SoCom beta test on the PS3
-Fix the fender
-Install the carbon fiber eyebrows
-Play COD4 on the 360 or SoCom beta test on the PS3

Depending on how all this goes, I may even finish up the wategate dump tube to dump out the side of the front bumper...

So wish me luck.

NOTE: I went 104 and 63 on Shipment today! WoW that was fun!

Oh wait! I just remembered that the Beta test for SoCom starts tomorrow! I might be substituting COD4 for that some tomorrow

After I go fishing with the pops, I'm going to finish installing the black vynil interior from my retired EH2 into my new EH2 project (I hate gray interior).

I've dubbed it "Project No Rust"

 

Finish a swap in a EK, clean up the garage cuz its a disaster. Than im going to finish my power window conversion. OH yeah and

 

Either evacuating really early or enduring a hurricane.

I'd get the hell out of there if I were you!

 

I already tried...haha. I left my house last night at 8 and went 40 miles in 2 hours before I said f it and came back home. If it wasn't for my left knee I would've made the trip to Waco (about 4 hours or so away), but I had knee surgery 2 years ago and driving a 5-speed wasn't the best thing.

Hopefully it stays on its current course and we stay on the "good" side of the hurricane, but we're ready for anything.

 

well i fixed my heat today and would like like a new air mix cable from honda but does anyone know if they are closed? also tommorow im cleaning out my blower motor in the car and changing the bezel to a non cracked one then finish some stuff that never gets done hey Jkov GL hiding out that f' in hurricane

 

SOCOM is gunna SUCK!!!

ive played since day 1 of socom 1 and it was the greatest til S:CA came out then it all went to hell!!! BTW online Only!

But ill be taking out the blown motor and posting is for sale and looking for stuf to go back to Single cam slam

Thanks man, hopefully we can just ride it out...I hate car rides and I don't have the money to toss around for it.

 

ill get to clean out the shed full of car parts and see if i can figure out why my poormans r swap isnt starting.

i've gotta get tires mounted and balanced and get ahold of Velocity Trends.

They gotta come get my ****, im frusterated with my car and this one day off a week **** just isnt cutting it.

I've been getting to work for the past 2 months without my car, and its a pain in the ***.

My labor for today was doing alignments at Goodyear for 2 hours then going home "sick" Goodyear is so money hungry, won't even close on Labor day

Not to mention I just put an assload into it.

4 new KYB struts and changed it from a 2 to a 2.5" drop on Tokico springs. I might start buying turbo parts soon .

EDIT:
And I just bought a new timing belt kit and recently installed.

I knew something else burned a small hole in my pocket recently .

 

Same here, finally got my turbo setup on and running a month and a half ago after about two years of saving up and piecing it all together. There's still some more fine tuning I could be doing on this nice day, cause it would be calling for thunderstorms on my next two days off ... lol

 

Wire up my speakers, they were cut at the doors when i got the car, So ill just wire in the backs, because their not cut. I hate driving without music, then probably get my heater working, for awhile I bypassed the heater because I didn't have it in. And winter is starting so yeah.... Oh yeah, and find my long lost deck.....

That's what ended up happening, I played COD4 all day with a little Gears of War mixed in...the beta test didn't start yesterday for some reason....

I don't get it, why is everybody mentioning beta testing COD4 and gears of war?

Both have been out for god knows how long.

I've been tryin to sell my un-opened COD4 for 360, but to no avail .
