timing issue help!!!

Default timing issue help!!!

ok i have a 94 prelude si with a h23 in it..i took it in for inspection and when it was on the dyno for admissions it had a hickup a small missfire.....so i changed the plugs wires rotor n cap n it got alot worse...n now its backfiring through my intake....how do u think my timing jumped off by changing the igniton wires etc. and i tested the ignition its coming from somewhere else?

Make SURE you got the wires in the right order and then double check your timing with the cam gears and flywheel marks.

ya i did i counted them n the wires r in th rite order...i did mor tests u think mayb a bent valve? i did fuel cleaner n ran the same?

check your plug wires again. . . i bet two of them are crossed

also make sure you didnt rotate your dizzy too much,i think ive read something on here about how every 8th inch of rotation affects timing.

i checkd the dizzy n the wires theyr in the right place....i gota guy that has a h22 head for sale that came from a 97 prelude.....im almost 100% its a valve not seating properly now can i swap a h22 head on that h23 block n it will bolt up fine no tuning?
