Default D16Z6 engine code question

I've got a 93 civic ex with a 95 si swapped D16Z6 in it, and I figured out the code that it was throwing, and it came back as 43. I did some digging around and found out that the code means something to do with the fuel supply system being faulty/malfunctioning (right?).

Basically, the CEL I get is sporadic. Sometimes it comes on while driving, sometimes it doesn't at all. What could be a possible problem, and what should I look at to attempt to diagnose/fix it?

Will definitely take care of that, thanks for the reply.

Just in case there's something more than that, has anyone else reading this had a similar problem that wasn't solved by replacing the O2 sensor? If the CEL continues, where should I look next?

Usually code 43 is the O2 sensor going bad before its bad enough to actually throw the O2 sensor code. If its not that then it can get hard to trace. If its not the O2 sensor then it could be numerous other things. I'd start with the O2 sensor, seems to fix it 98% of the time. Buy either a denso or NTK sensor btw, stay away from bosch, they're junk.

I do agree that Denso and NGK products are superior to Bosch, but I can't agree (from my experience) that Bosch is "junk".

When I got my B16A in '01, the 02 sensor was faulty and I repalced it with a Bosch universal. It worked fine for years (I retired it this past spring, just over 38 mpg is the best I ever got).
