Default Question about hard wireing an hid kit

Ok so I got this kit from a friend

But the connector that "connects to stock harness", has been cut off. (Why I do not know) So how can I go about installing the kit? Can I buy the connector from somewhere? Then I was thinking about hard wireing it, but the stock connector consists of 3 wires, where as the mcculoch connector only has two wires.

You can just wire it to the headlight, tap into it instead if you want, or buy a broken HID kit and resolder the ends on

Your car has dual-filament H4 headlights (1 wire each for low and high beam and 1 ground wire). The HID ballast and bulb is low beam only, so you would have to wire it to the low beam wire on each side. Use a multimeter to figure out which wire is which.

But now you won't have high beams (illegal) and if you accidentally flick the high beam switch, the low beams will shut off.

And you'll be putting out made glare all over the place, because PnP HID kits suck ***. Period.

will, I be fine hardwireing the kit in the way it is? Or do I need one of those relay harness things?

The pic in that link, looks like it has alot more going on then my kit, as far as the fuses and haveing to connect to the battery.

Btw this is going in my 4runner not my civic, but the 4runner is also h4.

Buy a new HID kit, they are like 60 dollars on ebay, and no matter what unless you go with a real proven brand name, they are all relabled made in china boxes. I would buy a new kit altogether and junk that one, maybe save the bulbs.

It is mcculloch, from what I have always thought and heard they make one of the best pnp kits. If i were to buy a kit of ebay for $60 id simply use the connectors on the kit I have. But honestly I cant picture myself ever paying money for any pnp kit........ Regardless I hardwired it and it works without any problems.
