Default Question about installing the H4 HID aftermarket kit

I searched the forum already but I never really got an exact answer on how to install the harnesses to the oem harness. Because the harness I have for the ballasts are just two wires with a small metal tip conductor. Am I suppose to plug those to into the oem light bulb harnes? Red onthe top and black on the bottom right hole? Please help. Thanks

Look in the installation manual for the HID kit. I would assume red is 12v power and the black is ground. Use a mutlimeter and check your existing headlight wires for continuity to chasis ground. Then run the HID ground wire to the existing headlight wire. Then turn your headlight switch on and check for which wire has voltage. Then run your HID power wire to the existing power wire.

Should be pretty straight forward.

so should it look something like this?

Should it lock in place right when its in there?

I noticed my high beam wasnt working for my left headlight, and looking at the harness, one of the red wires on the left one came off. If i was to get a new harness, would it be hard to install?

my friend gave the kit to me. He used it for a bit and he tossed away his instructions.
