'84 CRX alternator - what's interchangable?
I just got a message from a friend saying the car's she's apparently traveling in, an '84 CRX, has had the alternator go out.
She wants to know what other alternators might work, but I have no idea!
Help!

The stock alternator is available from most good parts shops. I woud suppose that a similar year Accord alternator could be made to fit.
Honda changed the electrical connectors on all of their cars in model year 1986, so be sure to get a 1984-85 alternator.
