Interesting clutch problem.
Having an issue with my clutch.
I've bled the system ten times by now, to the point where even if I submerge the slave in brake fluid, there is nary an air bubble. But not matter how many times I bleed it, the clutch is extremely lose. The clutch line is brand new, the slave cylinder is brand new, and there is no leaks. Believe me I pumped that pedal until I was blue in the face to see if I could fine one.
Nothing.
Are there any interesting problems that clutch master cylinders have?

I knew I'd get a thousand 'bleed better' responses.
Which is still a possibility, I understand.
But just humor me, assuming that the bleed was perfect, is there anything else that could be causing this behavior with the clutch master cylinder?

All parts are new except for the master cylinder. They're being replaced as I had the same issue before the new parts, and now even after the replacement, the problem remains. That's what has me stuck on the Master Cylinder.
How do I adjust the master cylinder rod?

@ the clutch pedal there is a pin that goes through the clutch lever and master cylinder rod. there is a lock nut on the master rod.remove the pin and loosen the lock nut. then screw out the rod.
i don't think this is your problem. why not loosen the clutch line @ the master and have someone step on the clutch pedal. If there is any pressure coming out then the master is probably ok.
Or just replace it, there cheap.

Cheap? When I replaced mine the cheapest one I could find was $100 w/o a reservoir.
How much do you get them for and from where?
