Default Car Won't Start...electrical problem...

when i turn the key to the first position all the instrument lights and dome light are koo but when i try to start the car all the lights dim and the car will not start...i seems like its not getting power..and when i turn it to the on position i could hear electrical surging in/or around the fuse panel ...i havent touched or done anything that could of messed it up...and the only way my car will start is with a jump start.. any input on what it might be????

Are you sure that your battery is good? I would have that tested first.

re-charged my battery...still the same problem... checked the fused that would relate to the the ignition and all that and everything checked out... starting to think it might be a relay but not sure which 1 tho

re-charge battery does not mean anything, if battery is bad (dead cells).

I would definitely think the battery is the culprit. If you can swap it with a battery that is known to be good. Ill bet it solves your problem.
