Default Electrical problem

So I'm walking out to my car tonight after work and my brake lights are on for no apparent reason. They can't have been on too long because the battery was still strong enough to start the car. Anyone have an idea why they would do that? Possibly a fuse?

Rubber bumper on brake pedal that engages the brake switch "broke" off.

It looks like as far as the pedal goes everything is good, i'll go check it again though.

Upon second look you are right sir. Can I get that piece at Auto Zone or something or do people just fashion something up that goes right there? Any ideas?
