Default Car is running to RICH (ECU question)

Hey everyone, well I have a JDM ITR swap (with skunk 2 stage 2 cams) OBD1 in my hatch the car has a P28 on Chrome and its currently running rich and sucks cause I'll be driving and you can smell the gas fumes. I know I need to have the car tuned. I wanted to know if by me using a stock P28 ECU would make a difference or not for now since I'm planning to get a hondata ECU down the road. Thanks.

Either get it tuned properly or accept the fact that your car will not run correctly no matter how many bandaid's you try and throw at it.

if its driven daily.. id be worried running a little rich.. let alone rich enough to smell fuel?
